Effective Project Management

  • Set an objective at the beginning of the project

  • Create a timeline of the project and assign major deliverables to individuals with due dates

  • Communicate effectively with all team members

    • Create a group text message/email so everyone can view the discussions that is occurring and can easily participate

  • Discuss potential decisions with each group member to make sure everyone is on the same page

  • Hold meetings frequently

  • Follow through with tasks during meetings rather then splitting apart and doing them on your own time

    • Members may forget to complete tasks

    • Questions may arise while in the process of a task that other group members may be able to answer

  • Show enthusiasm during the project

  •  Make sure everyone feels that they are of importance for the project’s success
